Woohoo! Super reader day!
So, as you are aware, the people who read this blog are, in general, pretty damn awesome. Heck, YOU’RE reading it right now, which pretty much proves it.
Now, it’s pretty common for awesome people to do awesome things, and two readers in question have done some particularly awesome things for the blog lately.
First off, is Dan Fawcett AKA AquilaTheFlying . Dan saw the Fighter and Big Guy diets, and thought, “Hey, this is nifty info and all, but I bet this could be better organized into a nice, self-processing spreadsheet.” So, being an awesome person (who is way better at math than I am), he went ahead and threw all that info into a nice spreadsheet with working formulas, and posted them to the forum. THEN, when I told him somewhat ashamedly that I was about to revamp my macro recommendations in the Macros and You! post, he went ahead and made ANOTHER spreadsheet, right on the spot!
So, when you’re going to set up your new nutrition plan, make sure you go and snag a copy of his AWESOME spreadsheet here, for a nice, easy, handy-dandy calculator (and instructions on how to use it!) Also make sure you say hi to Dan, and check out his new workout and nutrition log!
Next up, we have reader alexander_four (aka Alex Tarsi), who is significantly more skilled in the art of PDF creation. Alex is a big fan of the workouts here on the blog, but noticed that in blog form they were not exactly the most easily printable things in the world. So, he took it upon himself to create printable versions of the ALL of the character workouts for the blog! Holy crap. Currently he’s worked his way through all of the Rogue and Fighter workouts, and you can download them all in nice, easy .zip formats:

Also of note, my buddy Steve, who has been a long time reader of the blog, has recently registered over at the forums (username barnyewest). If you’ve ever got any questions and he happens to pop into the thread there, keep in mind this is the only man I know who is more knowledgeable about fitness than I am, AND could take me in hand-to-hand combat. Heed his wisdom, this man is awesome.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I write this blog for you. You and all the other cool folks who hang out here. I’d love it when people get more involved with the community! It doesn’t have to be something as crazy cool as making up macro spreadsheets or hand-crafting PDFs (though I love stuff like that, too), it could be something as simple as swinging by the forums and saying hey! I look forward to talking to you more often as the BaGC community grows =D
