Big News!

Hello, friends, long time no talk!

Before you get too excited, I’m going to nip this in the bud: Be a Game Character is not going to start updating again. HOWEVER, that’s because we’re building something better. Join us over on Hero Academy Fitness, the next step in me helping my fellow nerds become total badasses.

All paid BaGC content (even the really old stuff!) is available to all members of Hero Academy Fitness. Which, honestly, is a hell of a deal since a membership is only $9.99 a month, which is cheaper than basically any of the old eBooks (with the exception of testoster-own) and you get them ALL! So, you should definitely go check out Hero Academy.

Miss our old character breakdowns? We’re doing new ones every Monday, as a community, on the Hero Academy Fitness Discord. You should join us there!

I look forward to seeing you in the new world we’re building. Live boldly, change the world, and continue to be awesome!

    Hey Dan,

Just wanted to thank you for all that you’ve done with this site. I started my fitness journey with BeAGameCharacter.com after being bullied in middle school for being skinny, so I took it upon myself to build a body that would garner the respect of my peers.

I started out looking for superhero workouts to look like Captain America, and I eventually stumbled upon your page. I was delighted, not only since I could begin to work out like my favorite characters, but also because there was an overflowing stockpile of information that a beginner like me would need. I especially loved how you went into the skills of each character and how to acquire them.

I began with the Ezio workout, and read up on his leadership skills. I moved on to Agent 47, then Deadpool, and eventually through the years built up to the Duke Nukem workout. I have saved and printed almost every single post in a binder in my drawer, so I could always have the info on hand in case the site went down.

I am now 21 years old, and a rising senior in college. I’ve used my own bodybuilding routine in the past few years using the knowledge I acquired from your posts, and I have build the body I dreamed of having when I started.

Thank you so much for all that you have done, and continue to do.

    Best regards,

    -Tiger_Bl00d
