No Zero Days

My recurring theme for 2017 is going to be no zero days.

What’s a zero day?

A zero day is any day that you make absolutely no forward progress on any goals that you’ve set for yourself.  Personally, I’ve set a number of goals for 2017.  To have a non-zero day, I need to do anything that furthers any one of those goals, no matter how small that act may be.

Put away a dollar for our Iceland trip? Non-zero day.  Couldn’t get in a full workout, but made sure I walked at least half an hour at work and got in some push ups?  Non-zero day.  Wrote three sentences in an eBook for the blog?  Non-zero day.

Granted, there have been days when I have crushed my workout, banged out 3,000 words worth of writing, and socked away fifty dollars for the Iceland trip.  Those, of course, are non-zero days as well.

The important thing, however, is to act with a purpose, even a tiny one, every single day.  The main key for doing this is to break down every single one of your big goals into small, manageable chunks.  Check out my video on how I do this if you’re interested in my methods.

This is the point where most people start to fall off their New Year’s Resolutions.  Don’t be one of them.  Join me in pledging to have no zero days in 2017.  Want help staying accountable?  Come join our goals thread over on the forums.  =D

Live boldly, change the world, and continue to be awesome.
